Domingo

SW DOMINGO

SW Domingo, born in 2008, is the first son of SW Daniel (Shagya Arab) and Lily Creek Meesha (Shagya/DWB to ISF Consul). This cross produces a winning combination for the serious amateur rider. Just like his parents, this youngster will have an athletic build and a wonderful disposition. He is offered for sale as a yearling. Domingo can be your future eventing horse, dressage, or endurance prospect.

Domingo’s sire is a highly athletic young stallion from Shagya bloodlines that have produced jumpers, dressage horses and Tevis endurance horses. His grandaddy on his mother's side is the esteemed Iron Springs Farm Consul. On his mother's side is the well known Shagya stallion *Oman, one of the leading producers of Shagyas in America. At just three weeks he already showed the muscling in his hind quarters necessary for the equine athlete. At 1 year this colt stands 14.3 hands and has the genetic potential to reach 15.3 to 16 hands, perfect for any discipline you choose.

Jolaine

SW Jolaine

A 2008 filly, she will be a lovely dark bay. She has been handled since birth, ties, clips and stands for the farrier. Her blood lines are special and will appeal to those breeders or enthusiasts interested in a mare with the Shagya connection as well as the Hungarian blood lines.

Her dam , SW Nangelica, is a grandaughter of *OMAN through her dam, SW Naomi. Naomi is a 1st generation purebred ShA daughter of *OMAN out of an Egyptian/Polish Arabian mare, Tara Nazett. In order to begin Hungarian Felver breeding at Shagyas West, Naomi was correctly bred to Baron Gyemant and Nangelica was the result.

Baron Gyemant, a felver stallion, is a son of the Shagya, Hungarian Bravo and out of a Hungarian Felver mare. The cross of Baron Gyemant and Naomi produced a heavily bred Shagya/Felver pedigree, which ASAV calls Sportlo. These horses were originally developed at the stud in Kisber Hungary as cavalry mounts. The name of this group of genetics was originally called Kisber (the place) Felver (half-bred) Kisber Felver. The term Kisber is not used now because this particular stud in Hungary is closed.

Nangelica, was bred in 2007 to Thunder N Lightening. This stallion is a grandson of the ShA *OMAN by Oman's Thunder and out of a TB mare, whose own sire Don's Choice, had quite a successful racing career.

SW Jolaine, the resulting offspring from Thunder N Lightening x Nangelica is a felver with historic significance. She carries the O'Bajan lines heavily on both sides of her pedigree. She also carries the Shagya family genetics from Hungarian Bravo which are a proven good cross with the O'Bajan genetics in purebred ShA breeding. Her dam, Nangelica carries the genetics of DeVole, an Internationally famous French jumper through Baron Gyemant. The infusion of the TB Don's Choice into this pedigree, makes Jolaine a genetic gold mine. Call for price.

Sarabande

SW Saranade

A 2009 filly whose dam is the Lily Creek Stetson daughter, SW Sarendipity. The grand sire on the dam side is the Shagya stallion Sarvar. The sire of this filly is SW Daniel. Daniel is a young athletic stallion with a wonderful tractable disposition and this is his first filly. SW Daniel’s dam is SW Naomi by the famous Shagya stallion *Oman. *Oman is known for his show and endurance career and his standing in the 100 day Sporthorse Stallion testing.

Saranade has nice long legs, an athletic build and a lovely personality. She has been handled since birth and loves people. She is a true representative of the Shagya breed. A wonderful addition for any Shagya breeding program or for a breeder wishing to infuse the Shagya bloodline into their warmblood breeding program. Many Trakehener champions trace their bloodlines back through this type of Shagya. Her tractable nature and athletic genetics also promise the possibilities of a career in endurance, dressage or eventing. Call for price.
